Brie Watson’s love for art and photography comes naturally- She was surrounded by a family of artists growing up. After receiving her first film camera in the First Grade, she describes having fallen in love with photography. She describes her love with photography in seeing the way a photograph freezes a moment in time, and is capable of pulling emotion out of people. She began painting at age 17. Brie
attributes part of her passion for artistry and photography to her love of music and adventure, and loves to explore and travel- her inspiration for her work often come from places she’s lived and traveled to, and from music. She’s traveled much of the United States, living in California, Colorado, Virginia, Florida, and Texas. She started a professional photography business 12 years ago, and because of her
adventurous spirit, has been able to photograph weddings and various subjects not only in the places she’s lived, but also in Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma and New Mexico. She has been featured in San Diego’s Voyer Magazine as Inspiring Small Business Owner. She loves to cultivate the love of artistry in others, and has taught art camps for children.
